Due to a rocket launch date slip (not many programs that can use that as an opening line, huh?!) We’ve had to move the dates of this event to
April 1 & 2. The location is the same but the program will run from 8am-5pm each day.
Registration is usually $250 but thanks to a generous sponsorship we can offer your students the ability to sign up for just $100 through Wednesday with code GFLCARES
This includes all supplies, snacks during day, drinks throughout day, lunch, space swag bag, event mission patch and event t-shirt (to be mailed later.)
Go For Launch! is a 3-day event where students get to work with an astronaut (for all 3 days!) as well as other space & STEM experts. There are a variety of talks and collaborative activities with the culmination being that each team must design an experiment they would like to see tested in space. The teams present their ideas on the final afternoon of the Go For Launch! event and a winner is picked from each event. That event winning experiment is competed against others in the same division and the overall division winner has their experiment launched to the International Space Station for 30 days of data.
