Air Force Launches LEGACY Program here at WPAFB--Apply before 16 Apr 17

Wright-Patterson's Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) is introducing a new student program called LEGACY. This program is dedicated to everyday students who want to change their environment by earning an opportunity to build their LEGACY in the Air Force.  This program hopes to increase STEM interests, awareness and job opportunities for a wide range of students within our community.  LEGACY is designed for students from sixth grade to completion of their bachelor's degree. What is the Regional STEM Collaborative?

The industry driven 14 county Collaborative in Western Ohio working with business, government, education, and the community to build a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) workforce aligned with current and future workforce demands.

 Goal:

Increase Ohio's diverse STEM Workforce; more students studying and entering STEM careers.

Stakeholders:

Business, industry, Air Force, local government, economic development professionals, universities, community colleges, traditional and non-traditional K-12 educators and organizations who care about the future of the region, state,  and the country.
